A return to Premier League action sees Southampton visit the Emirates. After a solid performance on Thursday we need to follow it up with a win tomorrow. We need to get some momentum going in this latter part of the season.
We lost 3-2 at St. Marys in December and so we need to put the record straight by recording a win this time round. We have lost 5 of our last 12 games and so need to make good use of our very good home record.
Arsenal have a good record in the league against them and I expect it to continue. Last time we played we hit the new manager bubble so naturally we lost that. Now at this part of the season with 12 games remaining we need to be strong and try to claw back the ground to the top 3 and help us try to get into the top 4. If that happens we can look at it as a decent season with lots of improvements for next season.
We need to find stability within the group and whilst I think that Ozil will be put on the bench I feel that this game is crying out for a player like him to provide opportunities for Laca and Auba.
The team needs the support of the fans in the stadium and I am sure they will get the win with Monreal being a safer defender on the left making good positive runs into advanced positions.
PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-1 Southampton
